someone PLEASE help me. I've gone through 4 pair of headlight harnesses and 2 pair of $40 headlights. The ground pin on the harness melts. its not like a little bubble or anything, it turns black, leaves a hole in the side of the harness, and melts the metal pin inside of it. ive tried 10 AWG wire grounded strait to the car with butt connectors.... still melts. someone please help!!!

Are you connecting a higher watt bulb than the recommended? anything else hooked to the headlight system (ie. parking lights, fog lights, side markers?)
