okay, i have a 92' mazda 929. its been in the shop for about 1 month, the problem is i need a distributor connector and a mass air flow connector (whatever those are) and they can only get it as full wiring harnesses ($1200each). the mechanic said if i can find a 929 i can just cut off the connectors and he could splice it in. note: can't find a 929 anywhere in detroit. he also said if i could find a replica that fits he use it.

does anyone know of a replica or have any suggestions that would help.

You can look at just about any Mazda vehicle that uses a similar enigne from around the same years as your 929, Mazda is very good about using interchangable parts.  If you have the V6 the look at the 93-97 MX-6/626 LS, the MPV and also the 93-97 Ford Probe GT, it's the same as the MX-6.
