Here's what I'm trying to do. I've got a Kenwood KDC-X859 And I bought the Aux plug that plugs into the cd changer port and makes rca's. Anyways, I want to hook a PS2 into that. So I bought a power intverter and there is a lot of interference, so I ran an extension cord out and pluged the PS2 into that and the buzz went away. So I borrowed my friends Power intverter and I have the same problem. Then I tried a PSone and the same problem happened. Can anyone help. Thanks Tray.

You may have the signal wires running close to your factory wires. Causing interference.

Run a new fused power wire from the ignition harness to power the inverter and make sure it is grounded to a clean and paint free area of the body. Keep the ground as short as possible. Make sure your power wires and the inverter are away from the audio lines as Teamrf suggested. The power source for the inverter should be different from the audio components source.

I actually hooked the power inverter directly up to the battery and have the same prolem. So I'm not too sure what's going on. Isthere some kind of filter out there ?
