I have this system its a remote start and alarm. When I try to start he truck with the remote it doesn't star all acc. go on and make a hissing soung from the fuel injectors but doesn't start. When I start it with the key the LED flashes 3 time instead of 6 can anyone help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

its a 97 chevy silverado but it has nothing to do with the truck i just need to know why the pin swich is triped and how can I test if the pin switch is bad

If you are talking about the hood pinswitch then it sounds like it needs to be raised up. But, if the switch is seeing ground, then it wouldn't turn on any accessories. Do you need to bypass anything on the truck? v.a.t.s. maybe?

No bypass was after 98 on that truck it was working fine for about 4 years just stopped.
