Got a question for all you Canadian or US companies that ship world wide. Is there a co-operative or Group out there that you can join to lower shipping costs ? I find that I am spending WAY too much in shipping costs and the only companies that I have dealt with is Canada Post, UPS and just recently Grey Hound.

The only problem is that I still pay regular shipping prices through these companies. I want to pay less, but I don't do $ 1000's of dollars worth of shipping every week, so I can't get in on the large discounts available to other companies that do alot of shipping.

Any help would be great and thanks in advance.

Jeff, do you belong to any type of retail merchants association or Chamber of Commerce etc. The one I belong to not only gives me my visa and mc discounts but also gives me a shipping discount through Loomis or Purolator. Here is is called The Retail Merchants Association of British Columbia. There may be a similar one there. Canada Post is still one of the best and cheapest shipping alternatives from what I have found but cannot always be used. Greyhound is great as well, ship all sorts of things by them, the Couriers by  far are the most expensive, they should have a patch on their eye and a bird on their shoulder.

Thanks for the reply Rob. I'll look into the Chamber of Commerce and see if they can help me in this.
