I know i have brougth this topic up before, but what's with the low pass ?,i'm reffering to my midranges setings on my crossover because they are in flatt,5k,3.5k,2.4k so which one do i select here. The high pass is at 80 hz.The mids are 5.25"(front) and 4"(rear),i promise i wont bring this topic up again.

Thank you.

The mid range crossover is the piont at which the freqeuncy will cut off at. So if you set the crossover at 2.4k... any frequency after 2.4 K will be blocked off from the speakers. They will no be producing this freqeuncy at that cutoff. The highpass though sounds WRONG. The frequency at 80 hz if in highpass will aalow all freqeuncies pass through from 80 hz and up..... which will fry any tweeter hooked up through the crossover network on this channel.

Thank you Jeff, but if 80 hz is to much for the mids what's safe then because my crossover also has high pass seting for 120 and 180 hz,sorry to bother you again with this old topic, much apreciated believe me.

If you are using highpass filter for the tweeters you need to cross them over at about 3.5 k and the woofers I would cross them over at ( low ) 120 hz and   1 khz ( high ).
