hi,

I bought an inverter and now i took it apart and took the switch off and i thought of a cool idea but i dont really know how it would work. I was thinking of instead of having to push the switch to turn on the inverter. Have the inverter automatically turn on when something is plugged into the AC outlet and automatically turn off when it is taken out. Does anybody know if there is any possible way to hook this up. I have been thinking and thinking and havent come up with anything yet.

Um, if you simply remove the *on-off* switch and wire it in a closed loop fashion. The unit will always be on.

Simply, inserting and removing the PJ will turn on-off what ever component you attached the converter to.
