Hi, I have a remote starter/car alarm installed on my ford explorer 1997, but where can I connet the white wire that comes for the flashing lights and also where can I connect a negative blue wire that goes connected to the hood switch,
thx for any help.
Most vehicles you must install a hood pinswitch into for the remote start, it should have come with the remote starter. The park light wire in this vehicle should be a white / black wire at the switch on the dash. Do a search on this site for this vehicle and more info should be found about it there.

you can also go to your drivers kick panel and grab your parking lights the wire is PURPLE / white and while you're in your kick panel the hood pin is tan/lt. green

Thanks also to you deviousjoker, I will try that also, another question, when I engage the remote start, the 4x4 high/4x4 low lights keeps on flashing every a few minutes, only when I engage the remote/start, does is that normal or there is some wire not connected properly?
