During the break-in period for my subs (specifically, Audiobahn AW1200Q's), which will last about 60 hours per GlassWolf's suggestions, what level should the gain & crossover be set at? & what volume should it be played at? Basically, what settings should I use to break them in safely? I can't afford to blow another sub. Thanx in advance.

i am running one AW1208Q right now. but its setup for dBdrag and with audiobahns the newer the better for dBdrag. but for SQ 60hrs is right were you want to be for break in time. when i break in subs i run my gain at no more then 1/4 power and that is still maybe alittle to much, bass output from my head unit as low as it goes.  as far as crossover i am not sure. i havent really gotten into crossovers in my car yet. after the break in period what level have you run your gains at???

Find yourself  a frequency sweep from 20 - 80 hz and press repeat for about 2 - 3 hours with a battery charger on your battery. Set the volume at about 1/3 and the gains on the amp at  1/5 - 1/4 the volume and this will break the subs in nicely.
