i was wondering how i would test the wattage on my amp

i have changed the power supply on my amp and want to know

how many watts it putts out????

well the formula for that is current times voltage or voltage squared over resistance. there is no direct way of measuring wattage really. it's all sort of a calculation kind of thing. but you can take a look at the charts in the basics and general info sections of this site
