Alrighty guys, i found this board, seems a bunch of smart guys here, so lemme lay this down for you.
Firstly, an introduction. I'm Dan Eakin, a 21 year old from Lansing MI, proud new owner of a very awesome car... at least in my eyes. i'm kinda new to the mechanics world, and when you look at my next link, youll see that that fact will have to change, and quickly so.
i have a 1969 Opel GT AT, the poor mans vette, as some of you may know, seen here: www.ctdg.org/dan/hobby/carphotopage.html
now, i wanna put power locks into it, and hook those up to a remote system. I took the servos and switches outta a set of doors from a Grand Marquis, and tested them, on a battery charger. hook em up one way, they go one way, hook em up the opposite, they go the opposite, so i know that that works.
I also grabbed the switch mechanisms. 2 of them, both located in the doors. according to the first diagram seen on this page...

These switches should have a black and white wire that is Hot, while there are two pink wires that change polarity according to switch position, and they do.
Now... the problem is neither of these switches have grounds. Which, needless to say, creates a problem... all kinds of volts going in, none coming out. doesn't make for a full circuit. hehe. As soon as i finish positing here i'm gonna go get my multimeter from the garage, and find out if i can make one of the empty posts on the switches i do have the grounds (for both directions), but if i cannot, i was going to ask if anyone here had any solutions. I'd like to stay away from relays...

oh shnap... that second diagram isn't right... there's no lights in the switch... shouldnt' make a difference, but there's only 5 posts in teh switch to connect to...
