Alright here it is. I bought this sunroof off of ebay. It is a 92 Pontiac Bonneville electric sunroof or moonroof, whichever you call it. Well the glass slides down and back into a cubby in the cab. It isn't the model that flips up and slids over the top of the car. So when I received this thing off of ebay I was expecting it to come with wires. Well it didn't. So I have these five wires loose needing to be connected to something.   Black, Red, Orange, Brown, and White. I assume red is 12v, black is ground. But what are the other three. I assume one is up, one is down, and the other I have no idea.  If any of you guys have any suggestions as how to test this sunroof to make sure it works that would be great. Also any websites that go into detail on how to install one of these roofs would be awesome. I have a 94 nissan truck it is going in so some modification will be needed.  Thanks for all your guys help in the past, don't let me down now. lol.  Heres the link to the sunroof and what the guy sent me. He sent me the entire roof. I know I need to take it apart. But heres the link.

I never checked it before, but here is what I think

Black = ground

Orange = constant 12v(I always noticed on gm or pontiac, that orange is always constant power)

Red = Ignition(12volts when the key is on)

now the brown could be open or close and the same for the white, best thing, when the power wires are hooked up....TAP!!!  the brown or white to 12v or ground.......which ever makes it work.

Or try to get your hands on another bonnville and check.

*reads some of the guy's feedback*  *shudders*  ebay.

You might have to set up a ser ies of switches to create switching polarity... like door locks...  its actually not that hard to do.

Yeah, the ebay page said "I'm sending just the roof" the entire roof at that... he's a ebay junkyard... or a hot marker seller... not sure.  hehe.
