MDF, 14/16 ga primary wire, $250 Power Inverter, and Jigsaw/Rotozip.

Din cutouts are 7" x 2"; most speakers come with cutout templates in their boxes.

Or you can keep your eyes open on ebay/audio forums for Used Soundboards...still, expect to pay like $2,000+.

But if you can make a sealed MDF enclousure, you can build your own soundboard.

I just might have one that is heading out the door. It will be about $2800.00 Cdn + gst (7%) and shipping collect. It holds 6 cd players, 4 amplifiers, 2 prs of subs, 10 prs of speakers and is all controlled by an electronic switcher. This display was about $7500.00 CDN when it was new.

the electric switcher is worth $2700 the box is worth $100.   , not really, but the box is not worth anything. I don't understand why companies pay for this stuff.  Obey the Jigga.
