I have a 2000 honda civic that i installed an aftermarket radio and subs into.  Now my tail lights are out and my lights behind the a/c controls flash.  If anyone could help I would be very thankful.

I'm not sure about your particular Civic, but I've heard that on some newer Hondas, certain other features of the car are tied into the factory radio.  Sometimes this includes heater/ac controls, chimes, or keyless entry controls.  If you take out the radio you will have some malfunctions.  The solution is to keep the factory radio connected somewhat and "relocate"/hide it behind the dash or elsewhere in the car.

Don't know if that is your problem per se, but if you reconnect the factory stereo and find that everything works again, that is likely your problem.
