Hi I have been doing Car Audio and Security/Remote Starts for about 10 years on the side now. I got my tax id# about two years ago. My question is to keep the installs and all legal must I have liability insurance or can I just have customers sign a disclaimer? I'm really not in any posistion to open up my own shop nor is it the best area for it. So I basically work out of my home. If anyone can give me some info I would greatly appreciate it! And if I can get Liability insuranec for a reasonable price I will. Any recommendations on where to purchase?

Thanks in advance!

get insurance, even with a disclaimer someone could sue you if something goes wrong, then you lose everything
