this "?" is for anyone who owns their own business,i have an EIN and it also said this was a federal tax I.D. number.ok.i faxed this to one of my distributors,and the one i talked to said it was not the right kind of number,she said i need a retsale tax I.D.what is the proper name for this kind of number or form number?

You need to call your state tax office and get a tax ID number so that you are able to report sales to the state you live in. Not sure what it is called where you are, but I got mine from a state tax office. Good luck!

yep need the sales tax number in Al it's the license bureau (and kind of a pain to get I got my contractors license in 5 minutes)
