On my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 when you turn the key back to the ACC position the radio is the only part that works. The power windows, locks, ect do not work in the ACC postion. Its been like this since we bought it. I was wondering if something is wrong. Most cars you can run the windows and locks in the ACC position. Any help would be appericated Thanks

If you are turning the key backwards then only the radio should work, its to keep everything else in the car off and just the radio on. It has also been my experience that most cars need the key in the on position for the windows to work.
Actually I don't know of many, if any, cars that will allow you to run the windows in the acc position, windows take alot of power and can drain the battery. As for the locks, if these don't work all the time then you have some problems.

this is true- on my 2000 Ram Van 1500 has power windows/locks- hated the fact that the windows only worked on ing.only.
Got the factory manual- found out that the power windows and the power seats(12 volts all the time) where side by side in the fuse block on the side of the dash.
took off the battery cable, unscrewed the fuse block- found the two power wires- poped the holding clip and just reversed the wire- voila!! power windows all the time.!
