The IM programs pretty much do that, and without the confusion of people talking all at once and having a thousand subjects all at once and...you get picture?

We could set up an AIM chat room easy enough, but getting people there is another story.

I think it could be cool even if all we do is BS, and talk about are own systems, and what ever. I am no internet guru, but if someone set it up I would check it out when ever I surf.

You must have AIM in order for this to work.

Alright. Open up note pad. Copy and paste this into notepad, lines not included.

URL {
launch aim:GoChat?RoomName=Chat%20the12volt&Exchange=4&Instance=-1
}
Config {
prompt false

}

Click save as. Then change the save as type to all. Then type in "chat.blt" as the name and click save. Then you should have a shortcut to an AIM chatroom named the12volt.

Do it if you would like, or don't I just thought I would throw it out there.

For the dummies like me, the AIM program is the AOL Instant Messanger program. Download it and sign up (Free) and run the program Auex has and it works perfect. Give us something to do in the down time at the shop..

Also if you are downloading it new, run ad-aware or spybot to get rid of the add on junk.

I know I started this, but I don't have aol. how do I get aim with out aol? I don't like aol, and I don't want to pay for it. could this site start a room? Sorry I'm so late in my reply, but 2 hurricanes in 3 week has this Florida boy as busy as a one legged man in a a$$ kicking contest. I just hope Ivan doesn't turn east. that would be #3. I don't think I could take that my nerves are shot now. thanks guys.

AOL instant messenger is free to use... you don't have to have AOL.  Just search Google and find the download.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
