Hello,

I have used diodes that were supplied as part of a kit (remote starter or alarm), and would like to know if anyone could tell me where to purchase diodes in bulk, and how they are specified?  Any part numbers, "flavors" ;), or other designations would be appreciated, as well as possible vendors.

Thank you,

Michael

Diode(s) for automotive applications you only need to know the current rating in the circuit which you are applying to.

ie. 1N4001 - 1N4007 are all rated for 1 ampere. There respective working voltage is alot higher though.

1N5400 - 1N5408 are rated for 3 amperes.

D620 - P600M are rated for 6 amperes.

What you need is dependant upon the applications.
