i need to convert 212vdc cigarette light power adapters to 9vdc to power a set of chargers for my new motorola radios. i just bought the 12vdc versions 2 month ago and now my company switces to radios that use 9 volt batteries with a ac transformer to connect to the charger base. i need 9volts @100ma!

Plug your AC transformers into a 12 volt to 110 volt AC power inverter. They can plug into any cigarette lighter plug. They are also useful for powering other AC devices like battery chargers and laptops. They are cheap and come in many ratings depending on what else you may want to run off them.
