I just bought a Vector Maxx voltage converter and the fan is a little loud when on.  I want to use it for an Xbox so it will be on while driving with other passengers etc.  Where can I mount it in a Jeep Liberty to dissipate most of the noise?  I can't enclose it too much or it may get too hot.  I was think under the rear seat since there is carpet to help absorb some of the noise...  ideas?  thanks

Under the rear or the front seat, or if you don't mind doing a bit of modifying to you X-box mount it on the firewall and just run you cords from there, or even run a extension cord back to it.
