i know this is probably a dumb quetion but... is the ford E350 the same as the econoline?

Yes they are the same thing. The "E" stands for Econoline. There are econoline trucks as well as vans.

And here's a kicker...most Ford Trucks and Vans...Use the exact same wiring harness...wait they do....
