OK, I'm getting ready to severely upgrade my entire system. I have collected most of the parts, and am now getting ready to do the install. The entire interior (including headliner - needed replaced anyways)  is coming out for this, so anything that should be done at this time - is getting done.

My car is a wagon btw - I have collected NEW:

1.a Clarion DD CD/MD head unit + a VCZ625 CD/DVD/MP3 changer

2.Boston Acoustic 6.53's - front / NX-67's rear fill

3.Boston Acoustic 12.5Pro sub

4.JL 500/5 amp

Now.......about the cables and wiring - what gauge and brand do you pros use and where? Before this I had systems installed - but for $$$ purposes (I spent the budget on equipment) I will be doing this one. I've done the last 3 in my vehicles with no problem, but nothing like this. I am a PITA when it comes to noise - even some I had installed had some noise, so none of that will be tolerated in this one.

Thank you. Thank you. Thankyouverymuch. 8D

About Brand: I saw Precision Audio wiring kits on the Bay. Are they good? (they're reasonably cheap!?)

Anyone knows this brand?

Thanks

What I've heard on these post is that the only wire that requres high quality is the RCA's.  The power and speaker wire brand doesn't matter much as long as it's oxygen free (prevents corrosion) and highly stranded for flexibility in a vibrating car.  They recommended boss RCA if you wanted quality or any other good brand.  There's a few on ebay that are pretty good.  Search for a post named RCA Quality for more info.
