i got the alarm installed fine but i can't get the doors to unlock with the alarm. it locks fine but will not unlock. i've tried all the resistor combinations for this vehicle but neither seems to work. what am i doing wrong?

Do the locks still work off of the factory switch? Is there a chance that the outputs of the brain are fried?

Are you using relays with the resistors? If not try putting in a pair of relays to go negative to negative and then put your resistors in on the output side

Ah, you beat me to it. I had to do this just the other day on a SRT4. Jeff confirmed my suspicions on this before I did it. The brain just did not have strong enough of a pulse to send the lock / unlock on it's way.

Dumb question but did you try just pulsing the lock or unlock relay using a ground like the kick panel or whatever. Mabye the relays and the resistors are right but the brain has fault lock and unlock outputs.

How about regular truck or diesel? What wire did you tie into for locks?
By the way, resistances are 330 and 820 ohm.

2002 quad cab . I used 680 on the lock side becuase 820 wouldn't work. and i tried to 330 and 320 for the unlock but no response. I tapped into the white wire with the green stripe.
