Can you tell me where I can find a speaker connector for a 2003 Grand Caravan (NOT the head unit connector)? Metra orignally spec'd the 72-6512, but it is the wrong part. Now, they say the part is too new, and they don't have a compatible adapter yet. Anyone know if one exists?

Wrecking yard if they have a vehicle  that new. Otherwise hard wire it to the speaker wire isntead.

A adpater on a new vehicle won't really work, because the plug is part of the OEM speaker, and not easily seperated, and even if it is, it would still need to be wired.

So, unless someone makes a plug for this, I guess I'll hard wire the speaker. For a newbie, could you tell me the prefered method of hardwiring?  I presume soldering is best, but may be difficult in the confined spaces I have to work with. Are butt connectors the next best thing?

If solder can not be done, then use connectors.
