I have a X treme xs-300 vehicle security system. The other day I ran my battery down trying to start my 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer after runing out of gas. (dont laugh) when the battery ran down low enough, so that the ignition was just clicking. Once I got the car going and the battery charged up, the alarm was totally out of sync. When i tried to arm the system, the doors would lock, but the lights took a few seconds to blink and the alarm didnt chirp. when disarming no chirp and all was out of sync. Is there some way of resetting the system?

try putting it in and out of valet, or relearn the transmitter

Hello and thank you. I did it the old fashioned way. I took it back to the guy who installed it. He ended up just putting in a new brain. But...I have another question. The guy had just put the same model, Extreme XS-300 in his suv and that's the one he gave me, but he had his set to silent mode. Meaning, of course the alarm would sound, but when arming or disarming, the chirps are silent. He forgot what the code was to cancel the silent and it does not show on my manual. Can you help?
