Basicly you need to go to a car stereo shop(or Wal-Mart)and purchase a car stereo harness.  This will allow you to match the wires from the stereo to the new harness and just plug it into your vehicle.(no cutting and splicing) Just buy one for the year and make of your vehicle.   The next step is to find out if your vehicle needs a installation kit.  If you go to a car stereo shop to get these items just ask.  If not look at your radio. Is it alot bigger than your new one?  If so you need a kit.  The kit basicly just makes the vehicles dash opening smaller .  Take your radio out of the dash.  Unplug the harness and the anntena wire.  Go get the new harness and the new radio and start to connect the wires. The black goes to black or any metal suface on the car.(ground)  The yellow wire goes to the yellow wire in the new harness.  The red wire goes to the red wire in the new harness.  If your vehicles got a power anntenna be sure to hook up the blue anntenna wire in the harness to the blue anntenna wire at the radio so your anntenna will go up.  Then all you have left is the speakers.  Be sure to hook them up color to color and make sure the wire with the stipe is connected to the other wire with the stripe.  This will keep your speakers in phase so you dont loose your bass response.  All that is left is to push it back in the dash and turn it on.  If you have any more questions e mail me at ridev_twin@yahoo.com  good luck     Brianh
