i recently customized a touch screen in my dash and would like to hook gps to it but i dont know exactly what i need. they have the recievers that hook to a pc or laptop but that doesnt really help me. any ideas i will truely appreciate it

What you need is a GPS Receiver with a Video output to connect to your Touch Screen Input, and also a GPS Antenna.
However, the GPS System will only give you cordinates (example: 125D-Lat / 60D-Lon), But with Aditional Software of maps and land base layout you can convert Cordinates into real lifelike viewing of Streets, Towns and Cities only if the GPS System is capable of reading CD Roms.
