Im installing a trunk lift unit in my 37 ford. Two wires reverse polarity to make unit go in opposite direction. I only have one trigger wire left on my remote. Ive got a DPDT latching relay now with two coils. I can only activate one coil with the one trigger wire. Need a different kind of realy or two more of these latching ones. Kinda wanted to keep it simple. (relay was 25.00) Does any of this make sense.??

You will need 2 SPDT relays, should be relatively cheap. You will also need rig up some limit switches, hopefully the actuator or motor you have will have these built in. Well you would need something similar to this diagram.

The lock and unlock outputs would be the open close triggers. The "to actuators" would be the wires that go to the motor.

I dont see how if I need two wires from my remote for the lock and unlock and I only have one how will this work. If the single wire is hooked to both lock/unlock wires at the same time it wont work either.
