I have added a cd changer to my 2003 Envoy with bose. I an accessory wire from the ignition. However when I turn off the car the changer turns off and the radio stays on for about 15 minutes. What wire can I tap off of to get my changer to stay on with the radio when I remove the key?

you cant just tap into a wire, the radio stays on because of the RAP, retained accessory power that is controlled by the Class 2 data bus. Soundgate makes an interface called the GMACC. You tap into the data bus wire and it will give you a 12 volt ignition that also utilizes the RAP.

Do you know where I can find this device. The only place I could find was https://www.logjamelectronics.com/ and they were out of stock.

they should be getting them back in stock soon. Soundgate had to get updated chips for them and they were on back order for a while, they started shipping last week again.Circuit City, or Tweeters also carry Soundgate products along with alot of independant stores.

Just received my gmacc. Do you hook yours up to wires in ignition column? Or do you use wires behind radio?
