i have 4 dvc 4ohm subs and 2 1200 watt amps. i am running 1 pair of subs at a 1 ohm load to each amp for about 600 watts each. my amps are "strappable" so if i buy 2 more of the same amps and strap a pair to each pair of subs will i still be getting a 1 ohm load and 1200 watts each?????!

Post a link to your amp manual.

most amps that are strappable are only strappable at half of the load prior.   Therefore if your amps are 1 ohm stable now, then you can only run 2 ohm strapped.   as long as you can wire your subs for this then you will be fine.   assuming you wire each sub to 8 ohm then parrallel each sub, then bridge on amp....thats a 2 ohm load the amp see's

would be best if we had model's on the amps though
