i recently installed a remote start in a Saturn L-Series and i'm having a problem getting the security light to turn off.

i powered all of the ignition and acc wires properly and had to isolate the key in cylinder wire with a relay to get the check engine light off. i used a data bus security bypass that seems to work fine (ie. the car starts without the key)

What bypass did you use? Sounds like the problem I would recommend a manual tuning bypass for these cars.

i used a universal gm bypass for transponder and passlock (IB-GMBP)

i'll give it a try... my friend just gave me a 2 relay diagram for a passlock II bypass. i should have it in a week if anyone needs it
