Okay guys, I got me a router for christmas from my girlfriend.  She gave me a bosch 1617.  Alright my first question is I want to get a jasper circle jig for it this one to be exact https://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=365-260  but I want to know will it fit my router?

Second question, I have never used a router before does anyone have a good how to guide, on how to use one, for car audio or just period?

Last question, anyone have a forum that is for using a router in car audio?

Thanks guys for all the help, Realitycheck

If no one here can tell ya if it fir or not, call partexpress up and give them your modle # o fyour router. You may came out after that one jig was made.
AS for tellign you how to "use" one. Not to hard to use one jsut need to knwo what bit does what. But this is a power tool, if not sure how to use one, find soem one and have them show ya. Im just thinking of shop safty, but if you used several power tools before, useing a router is easy. im sure there are books are waht differt bits do what. Just be care full.

Hey man I appreciate it, thats a good idea about just calling them and asking I dont know why I didnt think of that, duh.  Anyway as for the power tool thing yeah I've always used power tools, I've just never used a router before.  I've got a pretty good idea about what the bits do, I think im just gonna get a spare piece of mdf and play around with it and see what I can do. thanks again Realitycheck
