I've got a '99 f 250  that  I'm installing a remote start /alarm that has keyless entry. The truck does not have RKE from the factory. I've looked in the reference sections on the site and tried the fixes mentioned but nothing is working for me. The unit is a pro-start ct-5000 3-in-1. I'm using the pink / YELLOW, pink/green wires located in the harness located high in the dash above the acc. pedal. I've done several R/S installs before but none with the 5 wire reversal set-up. And I don't want to hack the wiring in this customers truck.  Basically, a step by step walk through of how this system works is what will be of most help.

Thanks in advance.:D

Thanks, but i already have the wiring codes for the vehicle and the locations of the wires. I just can't get them to work for the keyless entry....

Find the correct lock/unlock wires. Cut both of them. Operate the switch to see which sides of the cut wires still get 12volts when you push lock/unlock. The sides that still get 12volts are your respective SWITCH sides. The other sides, would be your motor sides. Get 2 relays and wire them as follows:

RELAY 1

Pin 85: To (-) lock output from module
Pin 86: To 12volts constant fused
Pin 87: To 12volts constant fused
Pin 87a: To lock wire switch side (one side of pink / YELLOW)
Pin 30: To lock wire motor side (other side of pink / YELLOW)

RELAY 2

Pin 85: To (-) unlock output from module
Pin 86: To 12volts constant fused
Pin 87: To 12volts constant fused
Pin 87a: To unlock wire switch side (one side of pink/green)
Pin 30: To unlock wire motor side (other side of pink/green)

Good luck,

Mike
