My question is how do i keep the battery on without turning the car on for a long period of time?Im trying to keep my dvd player and my subs going whenigo to shows so turning the car off is a no-no...any one have answers?

Add a second battery, deep cycle, with an isolator.

Yes a car battery, preferably an optima yellow top. You run a large gauge wire, 4+, to the second battery. You wire an isolator up so that the second battery is only connected to the main battery when the key is in the on position.

thank again.

You could but if you are going to do this I would recommend that you use some 4+ gauge quick disconnects.

You could also just play the system on acc. for like 30 min the run the car for like 15 min. Just keep doing that throughout the show and your battery will get recharged. In fact you can leave your car running for the whole show, it wont hurt it any.

i have seen guys run thier cars off of power supplies before. un hook the battery plug in a power supply and voila. i am not sure how smart it is but i have seen it before. also had a relay to power up the acc circuit off of an aux channel on remote, that way they didnt have to have a key in the ignition. again i do not know how smart this is, but i have seen it done.
