I have been working on this 2003 mustang gt for the last 2 months, the car was bought from california as a rebuild and shipped to BC Canada for repair.

I am almost done the car and need to install Daytime Driving Lights for federal inspection. The problem is there is no module plug on the car and i really do not want to buy a new harness for the car, so does anyone have any ideas ?

help please

Wire the fog lights to the ignition line. They will be on whenever the key is in and turned to on, thus daytime running lights. Should get you passed your VI, chances are it is a box 1 VI that you will have to pass and most shops will not know the difference between a fog light and a daytime running light. My 93 MR2 uses the fog lights as daytime running lights as standard equipment.

no i just talked to the inspection facility and unless the fog lights came as factory driving lights they wont accept that.

and the stock canadian module wont work because the harness is different ( no pigtail plug for the module)

aftermarket driving light kit maybe be best way to go.
