I was wondering if anybody out there in install land could help me with a problem I am having with my instrument cluster on my '88 T-Bird Turbo Coupe. Out of the 7 guages, only one works. I have tested all the signals for the tach and the speedo. The signals are there, but the guages are not showing any signs of life. Have any of you had this problem before?
Thanks in advance!

i have that problem on my 92 t-bird.  its got something to do wiht an actual cable and not somethign electronic. my guages went out also and thats what i was told by my mechanic who also had an older t-bird.  i also had a ford ranger that did the same, the cable was the problem there too.

O.K.

After replacing my ignition switch and rewiring a new(from junk yard) Connector. I now have 5 out of 7 working. The boost guage, the temp guage, the oil pressure guage, amp guage, and the fuel guage. Unfortunately, I still have not figured out the speedo and the Tach.   My whole instrument cluster is electric, there are not cables for the speedo. There are only 2 electrical connectors and a vacuum hose for the turbo guage.
