Where is the ign module. I've looked all over the drivers side engine. I'm looking for the PURPLE / white tach wire. Where is it, what does it look like, or is there a better way? thanks, Stiver

Also the plug behind the instrument cluster is easily gotten to, why is there not a wire there to pick up tach signal from. Stiver

V-6 ?? or 4cyl.

Astrochart shows 2 possable tach wires...both at the same location. WHITE or LT.BLUE @ the PCM connector on the back side of the engine near the firewall, and next to the brake booster. Its a small "box" with 2 sets of plugs.

Get the wire from the plug that opens toward the drivers fender.....youll see what I mean, they open on opposite sides

did u try to get the tach at any of the fuel injector wires, it should still be PURPLE / white

you can get it at any of the fuel injectors also, it will be PURPLE / white
