i bought a used 94 gmc ryder truck it has a black box under the dash that has a LEDread out ,it is hooked up to the parking brake and also acts as a speed governer if i unplug it the truck wont run . does anyone know where i can get a schematic to unhook it or anything about it?

You may try contacting a Ryder repair center...Or just get a hold of Ryder and see if they can get you the info....

Other than that You can trace the wires to see where they go...One of them surely is a kill switch wire going to a speed sensor...And maybe you can bypass it...

Thats about all I know..Not a big automotive mechanic
