ive been trying to hook my remote start power door locks so that the horn will chirp when i lock my doors.the problem im having is when it locks now the horn has a 1 second beep,too long and noisy... is there another way ? its a 94 dodge caravan

you need to get a two terminal flasher cam, and what you do is interupt the wire going to your horn cut it in half and connect one side to one terminal and the other side to other terminal that should do it . please post or email me and tell me wether you have possitive or negative going to the horn and also if the way you connect flasher does not work switch the terminals and then try setting off your alarm to test as well as lock and unlock.

I think it was a typo and he meant "flasher can".  It's an automotive flasher that you can buy at an auto store (like Advance Auto Parts).  I just bought one with two terminals on it for $2.99.  It kind of looks like this:
