I have an old computer with a 220 watt power supply in an Everex PC (yeah its old, it's from 94 or 95 I think) and I was wondering how i would connect it to a car auido amplifier. It's a seventeam and on the side it says ST-300WT-P and on label that says output for +12 volts it says 15 amps (I'm guessing thats max). All of the wires I see are black, blue, yellow, red, orange, and then there is a thick cable that goes to the switch I think, that has a thick green cable, and one of each black, brown, blue, and white.

What would I connect to the power and ground of my amp so that it works and I don't make either the power supply or amplifier blow up?

What kind of power supply is it in the computer?? Is it an ATX or what??

15 amps . how many watts rms is your amp. you may need 35amps or more.

The amp I would use with it has a 15 amp fuse (an overrated power Acoustik amp). Here are some pictures of it inside the computer (yeah...its kinda old). Sorry about my poor picture taking skills...

And I don't think it's an ATX power supply...its too old.
