I am installing a remote start in my '98 Ford Taurus and when I looked for a place to run the wires from the interior to the engine compartment I didn't really see a good place to feed them through. Any help from someone who has done this would be greatly appeciated. Thankyou.

If I remember right, there is a blank factory grommet/plug right by where the steering column goes through. It's hard to reach, but it can be done

I have a 99 Ford Taurus and was able to find an unused factory hole in the firewall that just has a rubber plug in it.  I ran my power wire for my amplifier through it.  I believe it is above the fuse box.  I can go and look in my car and find the exact location if you have trouble finding it.posted_image
