If this is the one I'm thinking of, you have one ten millimeter bolt hidden between the seat back and seat bottom.  It'll be at the seat belt buckle on the driver's side.  Just push down the seat, and feel around a bit.  Take a look around with a flash light, you'll see it.  Once that bolt is out, yank up on that puppy and you're done.

Also note- if you're trying to remove the seat to get to the deck lid to replace speakers, there's no need.  Go to the trunk, look underneath where the speakers go.  You'll find two philips head screws holding the back of the grills in place.  Once you get those screws out, just pop off the grills, and you've got four 8mm bolts holding in each speaker.
