my girlfriend has a bmw 325 i and the windows are all stuck down the are power windows, I have checked the fuses but the are ok , i know the bmw has somthing called a comfort relay but i dont wanna start taking the dash apart yet if anyone else has any ideas please let me know thanks

it is a 98 controls are in the center counsle and its the style where up makes it go up and down makes it go down

Did you just look at the fuse? Try replacing it and see if that is the problem. If not the fuse try bypassing the switch and see if the switch is bad.

if you look behind the right side of the steering wheel below where the guages are, you should see a button with a lightning bolt in front of a square(something like that). that buttin kills the power window cicuitry. try pushing that button in and see what that does..

it does the trick for my 92 318..

no problem. that button, when engaged, prevents any of the windows to function...why that is, is beyond me.
