I have a Nokia CARK-91 kit installed in this vehicle, which has the stock AM/FM/CD player. In my previous car (2000 Voyager), the stock headunit had a pin marked "MUTE" and the muting circuit in the CARK-91 worked great when connected. In the JGC, there is no such mute pin marked. Does anyone know if this unit can take advantage of this muting feature? Can anyone share a wiring diagram?

I am not sure if it has it or not but if it does not you can always use a relay to shut the power off to the radio.

Pin 85 - 12V ignition
Pin 86 - ground out from the CARK-91 (mute)

Cut the switched ignition wire that goes to the radio and wire up one side to pin 30 and the other to 87. When the phone sends ground to the mute wire the radio will go off as if you shut the key off.
