I recently used my '97 Pontiac Transport to "Jump Start" a Chevy Suburban.
I caused sever electrical damage to my '97 Pontiac. The Voltages on almost all parts are pulsing. The vehicle will start and drive ok if no lights are turned on. All lights and electical parts are affected. One head light is dim and the other is bright. All gauges are affected, door motors, etc. There appears to be a short in one of the electrical circuit boards. I have been told that there are three or more such circuit boards in this vehicle. If the car runs, but all other electrical parts are affected, where do I start looking?
What part could create "voltage pulsing" throughout the entire electrical system. What part in the wiring system could create such an electircal pulsing about the rate of "60 times a minute"?

Have you checked the main fuse for the vehicle ? Sometime when a main fuse is partially blown this causes affects similar to what your experiencing. Check to make sure that voltage on both sides of the main fuses are equal.
