I am having trouble firguring out what is wrong with my pwr windows. i installed a new drvrs door switch assembly and nothing doing. It started with the pass side frt working when it felt like it then quit. Now after them working now and then, the rest of the windows don't work. i am frustrated becuase I bought a new switch assbly and that didin't fix it. all fuses are good. anybody have suggestions, i would appreciate any input. also wiring diagrams if possible. you should try taking out the relay box that is in the drivers door and resolder the circuit boards contacts especially the relay contacts it is a common problem on hondas

you should try taking the power window relay box out of the drivers door its the box held in by two screws and is facing inward then resolder the contacts on the circuit board especially the relay contacts

Thanks for the advice. Actually found the problem yesterday afternoon. I don't know anything about this stuff, a little now...though. A friend of mine gave me a test light and away I Went kind of back tracking everything and as I kept opening and closing the door, sometimes the windows would work so I thought that maybe the prob was in the wiring harness between the door and side of the car. So I pulled back the sheathing on it and there were about 3 cracked wires and two of them were broken. One was a ground for the whole window system. To get to them I had to take the door off. One of the broken wires was the same color as one of the wires to the passgr door, I reconnected that, butt spliced the ground and boom they all work again. I am so happy...the only thing is I dropped $129 on a switch assbly I didn't need. But it could of cost more if I took it in somewhere I guess.
Sorry for the long post but just wanted to describe what it was in case someone has a similar prob. Thanks for replying and offering your advice jeffmor.
