My Saab 900S will not start.  It started ok this morning and I drove to the gas station to fill the tank and the car would not start.  I have plenty of crank, but I am not getting fire from the ignition or the fuel is not getting to the cylinders.  I am just suprised that a car can motor to the station and then suddenly develop a start problem.

You didn't say what year your car is or how many miles it has.  Have someone hold a spark plug wire close to the block and watch for spark while you crank.  You can also sometimes crack a banjo bolt loose on the end of the fuel rail, and watch for fuel spray as you crank.  If you get nothing, check the fuel pump relay, and ensure it's getting proper voltage.  If your timing belt has never been changed- that's always a possiblility.  They should usually be replaced every 60k miles.

If you want you can PM me.  I'm in the DFW area too.

Could it be the fact it is a Saab? Sorry I just had to do it, I hate those cars.
