Accesories don't make a difference, as you will have them all switched off when you try to jumpstart....posted_image

I couldn't really recommend any brands, in fact they probably all come out of the same factory, we keep one in the work truck, and it has an in-built air pump and 12v, 50watt Halogen globe in it. As is also hardwired into the truck and is constantly kept charged, but its not a matter of just supplying 12 volts to it, you need to create a "trickle charge" circuit so that when it is fully charged the car just keeps a few milliamps going into it instead of several amps.

I have not actually had any luck with those jumpstarters, but then again I had no time to charge them; however, the box of the one I bought said that it came already charged enough for a start.

Our battery died while we were 1000s miles away from home 3 days into a 2 week vacation on the coast (in Tillamook OR) and the only thing open was a Fred Meyer (grocery store with an automotive section, for those on the east coast or not from the states, or have no clue what the hell a Fred Meyer is) we had to go through 3 of them and none worked, so we just bought some old fashioned jumpercables, got jumped in the parkinglot and had to drive back to the town the next morning (after getting jumped once again) and spend 3 hours changing a sidepost battery with nothing more than a leatherman.

It was fun, and assuming the jumpstarter we bought worked the way the package said, then it would have been much more fun.
