So let me begin by explaining how much poor luck i've had with my car and thieves. I've had the car since august and already its been messed with 6 times in my own parking spot at home. So yea, its kinda a ghetto area, but still, ppl should have atleast SOME respect for others. Around thanksgiving my car was completly stolen. Everything was fine except the steering column, they had to replace that completly. A month ago someone broke into my car and stole my ECU. I had to go to a junkyard and pick one up to replace it. Then 2 weeks ago I caught 3 little kids trying to steal it again. Little did they know that I took the ECU inside every night now when I get home. So my car still drives fine except they had broken the steering lock pin and now my steering wheel catches in 3 spots when turning. Also, the whole column seems to be bent to the left. Like I said, last time they said they had to replace the column completly. Im doing all the work myself this time with the help of an experienced friend but i'd just like to know if there is a way to fix this issue without having to replace the whole steering column because thats a mission I dont really want to take part in if there is another way around it.

Its kinda hard to tell you if there is a way to fix the problem because without looking at the car myself I dont know exactly whats wrong with it. If the column is physically bent then it probally needs to be replaced, but if it was just slid out of alignment then it may just need to be realigned.
